What a busy weekend, this is the only card that I have been able to make. It's for my great grandsons third birthday which we had the party yesterday and of course he was more interested in the presents vs. the card. Oh well that is a three year old for you. My daughter came into town from Colorado for the party and to spend a few days and I have not seen her since last year at this time. My daughter and grandson and great grandson came over to the house today and spent the day. So you can see it's been a busy busy weekend. I hope to get a few cards made this week for the challenges out there. Until then I am posting this cutie.
Paper: Kraft PTI, road trip October afternoon, club scrap red. Ink: versa mark. Stamp: no sure who the HB is by. Accessories: Sassafras felt truck and number, Tim Holtz mini stapler, embossing powder white, corner chomper.

Clean and Simple

Clean and simple #138 challenge... http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com/

Well let me tell you this was so simple it's silly. I saw on Papercraft this technique. Its taking those little sheets of reinforcement circles like you put on paper binder holes and inking each page (each sheet is only about 3x5 if that and cheap under $2.00 for quite a few in a pack) I used all ranger inks and used the sponge inking tool to go over the whole little sheet I did one sheet in each color. Then when that is done take some border stamps I used PTI and just stamp each sheet in black. HINT: make sure that you take a Kleenex and wipe each sheet once done or you will have a mess on your fingers and possible card as the ink will not stick to the shinny paper the circles are on and be all over your fingers when you are removing them, my first card was going to be on white ; ( ....

Paper: TE card stock, circle enforcement Ink: assorted Ranger Stamps: assorted PTI border, words easy elegance SU

Second card for challenge
Stamping 411 challenge # 201 http://stamping411.blogspot.com/

I decided to make another card for the challenge. This is it. All products are by Stamping UP.. Paper: rich razzleberry, pale plum. Ink: rich razzleberry. Stamp: easy elegance words, so swirly wheel. Accessories: rich razzleberry ribbon, hodgepodge hardware.

Sunday May 1, 2011 Wanted to share a few ATC's I made for a club I belong to over in Montana. We do two cards a month and have themes for each month and I thought I would show a couple I did that I really like. Not that I don't like the other ones but really couldn't get them in one screen shot so narrowed it down. Since I live in WA and need to send these I always make my cards for at least two or three months. The first one from the left is Collage, second one is picnic or BBQ, next is butterflies, and last one on right is chop board. I really like the picnic one oh heck I like them all.

Sunday May 1, 2011

I just made this card for a co worker who just retired after 23 years at the same agency where I work. We give out blue folder daily which contain cases in them and so I made this card to look like the blue folder. At the top of each folder is the month and year and since her name is April and she is retiring in 2011 I just wrote it there so that it had double meaning. Inside I put "enjoy the ride" "tomorrow is a new day".. She loved it..
